ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Yes, all students residing in the residential college are REQUIRED to register the permitted electrical equipment.
The registration can be done when a notice and instructions are issued by the Student Housing Center.
Applications must be made through the student SMAP system.

- The following electrical equipment is allowed for each student and must be registered with a charge of RM1.00 per item per semester:
- Computer / Laptop
- Printer
- Study Lamp
- Mobile Phone Charger
- The following equipment is subject to a charge of RM5.00 per item per semester and is limited to the quantity permitted by the Director of the Student Housing Center from time to time:
- Iron
- Electric Kettle
- Fan
- Hair Dryer
- Toaster
- All electrical equipment must have an approval mark from SIRIM, the Department of Electrical Supply, the Energy Commission, or any recognized safety certification agency.
- Each student is only allowed to bring one (1) unit of each permitted equipment type.
- The Director of the Student Housing Center has the authority to determine the quantity of electrical equipment that students are allowed to bring from time to time.
- The Director also has the authority to decide on student applications for any electrical equipment not listed above.
